Yeah man. Followed this whole build on TheSamba. Quite amazing what they did. Probably 20% of the car is original, but it is enough. They did an incredible job in saving that!

I was actually referring to another car. I followed this thread a bit at the beginning of 2011 but stopped after about pg 70. This was the one they identified by the handmade bootlid being "uneven".
