Porsche & Beetle gauges

Post by Blitzkrieg »

Hi guys,

Have these for sale...

Image

1. 924 speedometer - Took this out of my fastback, works 100%, including the trip meter - R500-00. Fits Beetle/Type 3 speedo cable perfectly. Is very accurate, 120 KM/H was 121km/h on GPS when it was in my fasty.
2. 924 rev counter - was also in my fastback, picks up a little slowly at idle but works fine after that - R350-00
3. 924 combo gauge - never used this so am unsure if the fuel gauge works - R200-00.

Still have the tri-pod for the gauges as per Porsche fitment which I'll include at no extra charge.

As stated, these are tested working. Will stand by my word and refund in full if any of them do not work.

Collection in Pretoria, I would prefer to not post.

Hi Blitz I am very tempted with the spedo and rev counter but what can be done for a fuel gauge in Beetle if you use that spedo?

Thanks

Buy all 3 gauges, get a 924 or Type 3 tube style sending unit and you are set...

Or buy the rev counter and speedo, buy a generic VDO fuel gauge and use that...

Don't have space for all three but I will look into my options. How does the rev-counter hook up? Coil negative or in supply wire to positive? Any idea what a VDO fuel gauge goes for?

What is the diammeter of the rev counter, I need something to fit in my by bus's cluster, preferably where the watch is currently.
