Hmmm, reminder noted, while not aware of what has happened over the last few days, I can only comment on what I have got myself up to speed on in the last hour or so. I think pretty much all of us have at one stage said something to get a rise/ response out of someone in the public forum, I was guilty of baiting Merlin which I now see as freaking immature and childish. The fact that the OP actually laid himself at the mercy of the admin/ mods, says a lot about their character deep down.
I also do believe that a certain amount of warnings can and should be given depending on the transgression made and doing this over and over again should lead to more serious steps being taken.

People should just respect each other – I for one am not very mechanically minded, but would like to learn from others who are – that is one of the reasons why I’m a member – the other reasoned is the fact that I like to socialize with other AC people.

My 2 Cents
The op Appolgised ........
in my book it takes gutts to stand up and say he is sorry and understands what he did was wrong
Drop it and lets all meet at KKK to Laugh about it over a few

The Poor chap has admitted guilt, and apologised, so as far as I am concerned, it is a thing of the past.
I am thinking of the future, every forum must have an Avatar that is used to hi light the trouble maker, and in this way the problems are sorted without a long and sometimes unexplained thread that has all wondering what is going on.
When the"wooden spoon" Avatar is present, all will know that it is time to avoid this guy as long as the Avatar is there.
Just a form of control. also used in the caravan clubs.

Re: IMPORTANT REMINDER TO ALL ACVWSA MEMBERS
Sooo....
Who else immediatly went back to page one to see Blitz's "wooden spoon"?
I don't see any difference, maybe the jury is still out?
If aircooled vw's can be compared to beer, then this forum is like a bar - there will always be problem customers since personalities clash now and then.
Blitz has shown me nothing but friendship and I like his enthusiasm but, yeh, let the mods and owner decide.

Re: IMPORTANT REMINDER TO ALL ACVWSA MEMBERS
Personally I prefer to spend my limited time on making positive changes to the forum. I refuse to let others' immature behavior waste my time. Don't dwell on the negative.
