hi guys, my brother in law works at a scrapyard in the UK and he buys and sells cars over there also. Send me a list of stuff that will be "amazing finds" but yet small enough to be sent or brought over by him. From what ive seen here any old Vw tools etc. is great finds. I will email him in the meantime and ask him to start checking for these types of stuff.

Cheers
Dirk

Went to drop off some white walls at a dude who does restorations, got chatting and he tells me he has something I might like, It' allways interesting when those words are mentioned.
After a little digging out pops a set of 40 DRLA Dellorto carbs, next box on the shelf and there is the rest of the kit.
A complete kit with matching Dellorto air cleaners intake manifolds, the lot, this kit was offered in the 80's by Claude Buggies now CB performance, one sticker still attached TOOK THEM :D
I ask him if by any chance he has any more of these, we take a walk to his "other" store, bolted on a V8 manifolds are 2 48 DRLA Dellorto carbs, been after a set of these for ever, he is a little miffed, as the last time he saw this lot there was 4 carbs bolted onto the manifold. DAMN 4 carbs in 1 place :zhelp:
Lets just say negotiations for these is at a sensative stage at the moment, I did make a offer I don't think he is going to turn down, fingers crossed.
This dude has some awsome restored yank tanks, took a liking to a huge Pontiac Grand Prix, don't think it would fit in my garage it's HUGE.
If I get these then I'll have my whole twin Delloto Family.

Found this among some camping stuff I've had in the store for almost two years. No name or markings but I think it's pretty cool. Needs a bit of a cleanup.

These metal AA triangles used to belong to my grandfather, the cool triangle-shaped box was probably because you ordered them through the mail?
