Lights Assistance

Post by Eye Candy »

Hi,

Im trying to do my wiring myself.

I am having a serious frustrating day, because i was busy last night but with no joy... I tried to sort out my lights...

basically this is the case:

Accidentally somebody messed the lights up and then connected it directly, so now

The front left light is working now but with no fuse, so i think they connected it direct. When i tried to look for a fault i started popping fuses like crazy.. but the light works without a fuse.

Then the right rear light doesnt go on, but when i apply brakes it works.

Sorry to hijack

But I am having a problem with my rear lights as well..
When I put my parks on, the rear lights and numberplate light goes on.
But when I turn my headlights on , the rear and numberplate light goes off.

It sounds like you both have to clean the points of contact between the light fixture itself and the body. It sound like your tail lights are not earthing properly. The points where they earth MUST be devoid of paint. Eye candy, this will only help resolve your problems with your tail lights,.....Jabez problems should be sorted after this.
