The guy told me of another one 15km outside of Pietersburg on the Louis trichardt road, standing under a tree. Said it is in a much better condition. Been standing there for 3 years. Don't know if it is for sale though!

Contacted the owner and unfortunately it was sold to someone some time ago. The new owner still needs to pay the remainder of the price and collect the vehicle. I am on the waiting list!

Thanks anyway Ricky, for posting the pics and sharing the details, at least you did your part in ensuring that there might be a happy ending to this Ghia's story. MrT, don't give up - you never know ........

Hey Paul, I am with you on this one.. :D

MrT, go for the 2nd one as well, sounds like a better buy, but if the 1st one fails, you have the second on, if you get both, you have all the parts you need, and you sell off the spare parts, help pay for the project, ....

There is always guys that want KG parts...

Hi Cogita, started the restoration project on my 60 Ghia this week. Will be ordering rubbers, spares etc, etc from the States and Europe. Please let me know should you want something, the freight cost is reduced dramatically when orders are combined.
