A Bug and a half

Post by fig »

I spotted these in Braamfontein this morning. No idea what the story is. The blue Beetle was unlocked and it had a broken tow strap attached to the front axle.

So was the blue Beetle being towed ? And the shell, looks like it was being towed by the blue Beetle ?

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

With a little detective work here, One can semis that the White shell was towing the blue beetle, then as luck would have it, the tow strap broke.

Nothing else to do but for the white shell to go to the back and push.........

Makes sense in a strange kind of way...

They were both still there when I drove past this morning. Then after lunch I saw a tow truck dropping off the blue Beetle at RAD Beetles in Fietas, just up the road.
