These are only included because they are forgotten in place or not needed, or are a negotiated part of the deal.
With all due respect, I have to disagree with you here, Mr. Bill. :)

A clutch is removed with the engine and if you consider that it is often balanced to a specific engine, it lends even more credence to this notion.

In all my years, not once have I encountered a situation involving the splitting of engine from car resulting in the clutch going with the gearbox/vehicle.
