Re: MY Beetle
looks good, but you really need to lower the front end closer to the tyres....

Re: MY Beetle
@ Gort ,thanks man , I got them from a friend who buys and sells mags. There is a set on sale in Gumtree for 4K but the seller is in Cape Town, do a search for Porsche rims.
@ Tony Z ,its going to be lowered on Monday ,im going to install adjusters.
Funny enough the rear is lower on the right than it is on the left , that will be sorted tomorrow hopefully.

Re: MY Beetle
Nice, glad to hear it... mine runs on 17's but the same rim and it looks just right - problem is that they are so damn heavy.
Enjoy yours, send updates once they fit better

Re: MY Beetle
Tony ,the funny thing is after i fitted them i took it for a spin and the steering felt even lighter, the previous rims were much heavier ,15 inch rostyles.

Re: MY Beetle
Thats probably got to do with caster and tyre pressure...veemal wrote:Tony ,the funny thing is after i fitted them i took it for a spin and the steering felt even lighter, the previous rims were much heavier ,15 inch rostyles.
I am talking about the actual weight of them, my 15" VX1's were probably 3kg lighter each (with tyres).
