That is a real Harare Ferrari for sure, even got a dash mount TV and a serious front bumper, but someone has pride in the Bus it is very well looked after,it looks like the fuel filler flap has been moved or is that where they normally sit not to clued up on them.
Thanks for the pictures AKG.

The owner of the bus does take pride in it. He's a retired mechanic from Italy, who's been here many decades. The bus is his baby. The engine is a Nissan 2litre turbo diesel however. He did the conversion himself. It is very clean. The bus is a mobile home with beds and all. Very well maintained.

The other cars I found at my buddy's a garage. The buggy belongs to one of his customers. It runs a Type I 1300. He also has a 914 he's been wanting to restore. It's pretty much complete save for the bonnet and gearbox. He has several other projects as well. Classic American stuff mostly.

I must say it is very straight and spotless, it must have taken many dedicated hours of work, its a work of art,not my style but very well presented.

Ditto to that Terry. I couldn't agree with you more. The owner is smitten with his bus. He has indeed done an excellent job. I couldn't believe how well it was maintained. We see so few ACVWs in this sort of condition here. It's a pity he didn't stay with an aircooled motor, but according to the owner it does go very well.

I dont know about the accesories, bumpers & engine conversion but I sorta like the 80's styled/inspired paint on the bus..
The big elephants foot lights on the buggy looks cool too, I suppose because you don't see those too often on a buggy..
Just keep on BUGGIN'
