Carrerarossa Beetle
Spotted an old friend in Mossel Bay yesterday. This Beetle belonged to Jan de Jonge from Bloemfontein, and has a 2.1 water cooled Kombi engine. It goes like stink (I know, because we did A LOT of road trips when the Beetle & Karmann Ghia Club still existed, and I could never keep up with it! ) From Bloem, this Beetle spent a few years in Ceres, and now has a lady owner who stays in Mossel Bay.
