New Mahle piston & barrel kit, stock size

Post by Tony Z »

I have a lead on two new sets of Mahle pistons and barrels, 85.5mm stock size in Namibia
I should be able to get them to CPT for R3300

Would anyone be keen on a set?

Mahle are better than any of the cheap imported sets available locally
and being 85.5mm, the barrels are thicker and stronger than the 87mm or 88mm sets which do warp and distort, leading to lower power and higher fuel consumption.
If you have a bus and install a 87mm kit, its only a matter of time before you warp them.

If there is interest in these sets, I'll look into getting them to my place. Price will be dependent on transport costs.
