"Barndoor" and "baywindow" are from opposite ends of the ACVW bus spectrum and the two never came together.

A barndoor bus is a pre 3/55 bus, with no vent/peak above the windscreen, and the huge engine hatch (hence barndoor).

Barndoor does NOT refer to the hinged side doors.

Fleetline was the model name given by VWSA to the throwback Brazilian split bus assembled here from 1/75 to 3/76.

Your bus sounds like a Brazilian baysplit hybrid, which replaced the Fleetline from 76 to 78. These were not called Fleetline. I think they may have been called Brasilia.

I doubt there's any way to fit 17in wheels in a bus without hacking and tubbing.

Oh, and by the way, lowered buses are totally played out ...
