Hello everyone
Hello everyone "shake hands"
I've been reprimanded to come and prostrate meself infront of the court. Ha Ha.
My name is Mario and I'm situated in Gauteng. I drove a Beetle for many years until the budget improved a bit. (I notice while browsing this forum that nowadays driving a Beetle means you are RICH - it's amazing how much people spend on their BUGs)
I recently started with my mid-life crisis and after watching ALL of those shows on Discovery channel (DSTV) about the cars being being rebuilt and modified I decided to tackle a project myself. The obvious choice, to me, was to build a beach buggy since I already knew a Beetle's insides quite well and the fiberglass body is easy to alter.
I'm married and work for the biggest water purification company in Gauteng. YES - if the water tastes funny - I probably fell asleep at work.
That would of course be due to the fact that I was busy working on the buggy the whole night.
To all the original English speaking people out there - please excuse my efforts - I hope they do not offend too much! Ha Ha . (I'm a Boer)
Joking aside - gotta go and overhaul the master cylinder.
All the best
Keep those motors revvin' !!!

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
The beginning is posted under "Projects - revival'" - I hope to record every step on the forum, but it's going to take a couple of months ( maybe more because of suppliers)
This is really a great site! My compliments to everyone who keeps it going.
One last thing - why am I an oil stain?
Why can't I be a uvula (and is that biologically correct)?
Enjoy your week ahead!
