Hello everyone I am a South African who has been living in brazil for the last few years and I happen to have access to Split window kombis , mostly um restored in perfect condition
The fact is in brazil they dont value these Kombis as they do in other parts of the world therefore you can pick up a gem at a good price In Brazil its LHD but the conversion can be done here to RHD The elder Kombis, split windshield are very similar to the German ones
Should there exist any interest and you want more information on prices ,shipping costs , Import duties to South África you can contact me

Welcome to ACVWSA Fred. I think there'd also be a lot of interest in sourcing parts from Brazil.

Re: Split window kombis available from Brazil
I contacted Fred directly and he sent me pics of three great looking splitty's ranging in price from R 95 000 - R 120 000. All in good condition requiring minimal work and ready to drive.
He says that landed in CT the total cost would be around R 150 000. I suggest that those really interested contact Fred by private email.

Welcome to ACVWSA Ridwan. Like you, the original poster has only one post to his name. Since he hasn't been back in the year and a half since he made his first post, I think you can feel confident that he won't be back to respond to your question.Ridwan_Choonara wrote:Hello, seen your post on importing splitty from brazil. For your second post, please introduce yourself in the New Members thread, as requested in your welcome mail.
