Westlfalia Kamper 74/75
Some images of the Westfalia Kamper I bought. Drove it 100km to get it home so in running order but needs some TLC. Paint, engine and trimmings

The best answer I have is from the user figChardivw wrote:Cool bus! Y isnt the roof a pop top
"In 1974 VWSA introdueced a new "Kamper" based on a normal hardtop baywindow bodyshell, just like all the rest of SA-assembled baywindows. From a brochure I have, the interior still looks like Westfalia, but I have never seen one of these buses in the metal. I think they made the change because of the expense of importing and building the full pop-top westies in SA."

Cool camper - very few of those around. Once Jurgens launched the Autovilla in '73 it seems to have killed the sale of Westfalia's in SA. Maybe these Kampers were offered as a special order and the camper interior was just fitted to a standard kombi.

A very unique and rare camper you have there, I remember reading about them in an old CAR magazine, but have never actually seen one - cool score there
