These where very popular in my young days.... :roll:

Just after the time of having a radio hanging from your rear view mirror....

Until the "sollies" worked out you just pull it out its holder and you have a house radio.

That was the time when stealing was not exceptable.

Then they tried small locks, but that did not work, then they dropped the idea, and only sold car radios.

Oh ! the good old days...........

No my Dad was one of the transistor originators here in South Africa, when he worked for Philips Radio, and then Pilot Radio.

So I respected the transistor and broke the Valves as a kid....... :lol:

We always had the newest receivers and transmitters in the house for quality testing. (great job for a kid)

Every brand you could think of was compered and studied by my Dad.

And here endith the history lesson.....

Thanks for sharing Fig, its just about new, with no inserting marks at all, great find for someone that has a 60 to 64 car.
