Hey guys
I was very fortunate to inherit a Porsche 356 project vehicle over a year ago.
The vehicle is still in very much a project phase. Body is mounted to shortened VW beetle chassis with Audi gearbox and VW Jetta 1600 EFi motor. Has a radiator, mags and wheels Vehicle is unpainted and does not have license papers. Papers from the scrapyard for which donor parts are however available.
Could someone please provide me with what they feel the above is worth? I unfortunately am not in the place to be able to work on the vehicle and may look to sell.
Thank you!

Re: Porsche 356 Replica Project Value
Sammy,
it's impossible to value that kit. willing buyer, willing seller I'm afraid. The fact papers aren't in order and it's not a runner will add negatively to the future buyer.
I bought mine as a runner, but it was very poor and neglected, and I paid 55 K for it. I rebuilt it to perfection, and got the right money for it once completed, but it was literally, built to the "T".
These cars traditionally are aircooled as well, so watercool conversions are usually frowned upon. I wouldn't say it's worth anything more that 30 K tops.
Good luck.

Re: Porsche 356 Replica Project Value
Been involved with the goose and his speedster,..... The value is mostly subjective,"...... As mentioned some pics can help form an opinion on the value,.... Then the buyer will determine how much needs to be put into it to get it in the condition he/she envisage what it needs to be in.
Paperwork is a big BIG negative for the car.
Not to pee too much on your battery ,.... Rather give it too you straight.

A "built up" car without papers now days is almost impossible to register, unless it is built / done by a shop who has SABS accreditation.
For what it's worth, ignorance has no limits ......
