Grey heat resistant paint for stock exhausts

Post by 73type2 »

I'm looking for grey heat resistant paint that can be used for the stock look on Beetle exhausts. Does anybody know of a local (South African) source?

This also looks like a good suggestion, assuming the exhaust doesn't get hotter than 1093 deg C. Thanks @spicydave. I'll check out my local hardware.

You'll probably find VHT at hardware stores and builders warehouse too
But I know for definite that Midas sells it - it was next to the VHT caliper paint I bought a few weeks ago

Thanks. I expect Midas to be the most expensive, but I'll have a look around.
