All Fig's fault. He didn't put it on the forum and I don't check Gumtree lately.

I think you by now you need to get another Autovilla to get the balance right.

Jaco, so I did get another Autovilla, thanks to you.....

So, look what I found on Gumtree again.

Mmmmmm

And look at this lovely table. 8)

Look what a came accross in a second hand shop out in the country side this weekend.

This is a older variety it seems.

This auntie in the shop really didn’t want to negotiate, she kept carrying on how rare these items are, but I insisted that it’s actually abundantly available..... she refused to believe me.....

Evil auntie nailed me R400 for this

Hi there... if anybody comes across one of these Auto villa tables, please let me know. I would love to add one to my bus?

FYI, I don't think the map table was ever fitted to Autovillas. They come from early 70s Jurgens caravans. But they are super cool and they do fit an Autovilla.

Hi Muds, 1st welcome back..

Know of a lot of guys making these way back when they where in fashion

You wet clear coat your table and with a wall paper roller, you roll the map on, getting out all the bubbles then when dry, you clear coat over the map.

Thanks Herman, that definitely sounds like an alternate plan.

Good idea!

Although I have never seen on the early Autovilla's, I have seen three 1979 models that have the swivel table with the map printed on it.
