We were actually experiencing issues with the starter where it would sometimes refuse to start, just click click click.
So after removing the starter countless times and bench testing it on a extra gearbox without any issues I came to the realization that we are experiencing voltage drop from the ignirion wire to the solenoid. Added a relay onto the solenoid wire and the starting issues are a thing of the past

After seeing @Batman s post about his diy doorcards we decided to replace ours aswell as they were literally falling to pieces
