Hot Wheels VW Beetle pickup

Post by Pine » Mon Dec 17, 2018 8:21 am

The new 2019 Hot Wheels model of a 1949 Beetle pickup has started to surface in South Africa. This is a brand new casting, in other words it was never available before. It is already known as an extremely rare model, so if you can find one, take it - it will be a stunning addition to your collection! I was fortunate to get two at the Checkers Hyper in George a week ago, they retail for R 35,99 each but are already listed by scalpers at R 100+ on Bidorbuy...

Grandmas sit in chairs and reminisce
Boys keep chasing girls to get a kiss
The cars keep going faster all the time
Bums still cry, "Hey buddy, have you got a dime?"
And the beat goes on, the beat goes on...

Managed to score 1 at PnP due to a youngster deciding he would rather take a ricer instead of the pickup :hangloose: :hangloose:

You guys want me to find you some over here. Because here they are becoming peg warmers, nobody want them. Same with the Kafer racer in yellow.

Some kids who got them for Christmas are throwing them around the room kicking them and playing with them in the sand pit and we sit here as Adults wishing we could be doing the same thing. :(

Whenever we go shopping I make a bee line for the toy section and sort through the Hot wheels and am aware of the looks that I get from some people
