Engine swop

Post by frans1806 »

Hi all.
So.I have a 75 beetle s that needs engine swop ( engine supplied) and tune up done.
I can do it but unfortunately live in Australia now and the car is in Kempton Park.
I want to try and bring the beetle over to Aus but have to get the original engine in it for all the paper work to line up.
I have tried a couple of workshops but no one can really help. Any body out there you can suggest??

Thanks

Just out of interest, did you look at the requirements importing a beetle to Aus?

Can you not do the engine change on the papers here? Did you already submit your engine number? Why only the original number?
