Hi guys
I hope someone can assist me.
I’m fitting the windows back into my Brazilian Fleetline. The right rear corner window is giving me a hassle.
I’m not sure if the bus had a knock there, but the corner window seems too big.
I’ve held the window there without the rubber and the top left side needs to be trimmed by about 3mm.
Obviously windows are toughened glass. YouTube says you can grind toughened glass with a diamond bit on a Dremel tool.
I’m not so sure.
Any recommendations?
Has anyone ever tried this?
If I do try this and it doesn’t work, and the window breaks, any idea if those corner widows are available?
Thanks guys.
Jason

Re: Fleetline rear corner windows
You may find that the body work has stretched the metal in that area.
Do not grind the glass as it will shatter.
Grind the body metal lip and prime and paint before fitting glass.

3mm is not a small discrepancy.
The corner widows shatter extremely easily. Treat with the utmost care.
If the other corner is OK, it's probably a safe bet that the shell has not been tweaked, so narrow your area of focus for finding the root cause.
