ALIGN BORE

Post by Cyndi Kritzinger »

I HAVE THE NEED TO FIND SOMEONE WHO DOES ALIGN BORING (WELL) AND IS REASONABLY PRICED. I'M LOOKING AT HAVING BOTH 1600 AND 2L ENGINES DONE.
ANYONE KNOW OF A REPUTABLE PERSON/BUSINESS.
EVEN BETTER IF THEY CAN ALSO SUPPLY THE BEARINGS.

MARK

THESE ARE ALL OLD BITS OF ENGINE THAT A FRIEND OF MINE GOT WHEN HE BOUGHT A BUS IN CPT.
MOST OF THE STUFF IS TOAST. THE ONE BLOCK IN PARTICULAR HAS SOME ISSUES WITH THE BEARING AND BLOCK BEEN PINHOLED (I BELIEVE TO TRY AND STOP THE BEARING FROM SPINNING). THE CAMSHAFT GEAR WAS BUSTED RIGHT OFF THE SHAFT ON ONE ENGINE AND THE HEAD AND SLEEVE ON ONE WAS SO THICK WITH RUST IT LOOKED LIKE A PACKET OF STRAIGHT CUT SIMBA CHIPS INSIDE.
I AM JUST TRYING TO USE WHAT I HAVE TO MAKE UP SOMETHING THAT'S GOING TO WORK.

@BUGGYFAN
THANKS FOR THAT INFO. I WILL GIVE THEM BOTH A SHOUT.
