I’m collecting acvw beetle speedometers and need help in identifying the years & models please

Looks like an automatic…ATF?
No fuel gauge
Glow plugs….what is the light between 90 & 100 mph for?

Normally has a date stamp (month Year) on the back

Looks to be a Brasilia Bus speedo.

Or even a late Brasilia Beetle with alternative fuel use

Too big for Type 3 or KG

I would say the light between 80 and 90 is when your headlights is om brights.

What is the date on the back if it got one?

One speedo for Early bay in MPH not kph

Hi Terry, bus speedos I don’t collect….not on purpose anyway. ‘72 beetle…I’m not sure, the ones I have are all a bit different. Sorry

Look on the face right down behind the glass at the very bottom they some times mark them there.

Looks like a Thing speedo or an auto beetle. I have seen that ATF sign somewhere. Will have a look tomorow

Seems like the ATF is for Automatic Transmission Fluid. I did see somwhere it is for the fluid level but in the pic it shows temperature.
