Found this radio last week. It says 'Blaupunkt Hannover' and is quite larger than normal 'old' car radios. Have no idea what the rear additional part is for? Any ideas?
I'm sure you're mates with my chassis builder and friend - the radio man?
Pass it his way.

"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car, and oversteer, the rear. Hp is how fast you hit the wall, and Torque is how far you take the wall with you."

"My other ride is your SeatCover! & She loves it!" Sometimes you'r the statue, sometimes your the pigeon. "Only the dead go free..." Roger Waters. "You do not understand the power of the DarkSide" Darth Vader.
That is a tit of a radio.
Most of those German jobs had the power supply and other heat producing components housed in a seperate unit behind the set. I am sure it will fit into the std VW radio hole.
Hook it up to a battery (check the voltage!) and a speaker and tune in---- oops--- does it have FM?
Great fun!
