VW pick up

Post by Watercool »

There have been pics floating around about a new Pick up from VW (code name Taro), it is about the size of the Toyota Tundra/Hi lux. Spy pics show the truck with a Toyota body on a VW frame, but that is for testing only. According to what we could find out this truck will be ALL VW and not a rebadged Toyota like the last Taro. The engins that are mentioned ar a 2.0L , V6 and a Diesel. The release date is suppose to be sometime 2010.

Before the Touareg was released a few years ago, VW Trends did a feature on the concept car which looked like a pickup with an extended cab, and a (current) Touareg nose. It looked awesome!
