1965 Split Bus front shocks

I need to replace my shocks all round and found that the front shocks are about 1 inch longer when extended to full.
Volkspares have sold me rear shocks which look the same as the old ones (Beetle) but they don't have front shocks in
their database. Can someone help with advice on what shocks I should put on the front as standard?
I noticed the front shocks have a rubber shroud at the top while the rear don't. It's a German bus. Thanks

AFAIK front and rear shocks are the same on split buses. Gabriel HDs should be easily obtainable at your FLAPS.
