Insurance

Post by Chris »

I spoke to a friend of mine in the Insurance industry.

He is willing to do a deal for the guys on the site that will insure our cars against theft.

This will mean that in the unlikely event of a car getting stolen, they will pay an amount enough to replace your car.

There will be however a condition to fit a tracking device, which we will negotiate a special deal with a Tracking Company.

I need a show of hands of who will be interested.Buses,Beetles,Variants,KG's and everything else can be done.

Please tell me that you are interested, and also tell me which cars you want to insure.

The trackking in a 6V bug will just track slower so when it shows the bug is on its way to PTA from JHB when the trackking shows Olifantsfontien the bug is already in PTA getting stripped :D :D :D :D :D :D

I'd be interested, but would like to know what the particulars are, and which insurance company
would I end up sending my claim to, in the event of the unspeakable?

Just to try and get this topic back into shape, I have a question:

Is the insurance deal still gonna happen, because I am clinging to my Beetle with all that I have, so scared that some bastard is gonna come along and take it from me. At least insurance and a tracking device will give me peace of mind, because it increases the chances of the stolen vehicle being found, but if it is gone 4ever, you get some money back to buy another one.
