Type ? Vanagon Camper / High Roof Transporter

I am looking for a bit of advice from all the dyed in the wood camper boffins ----

We have aquired a Vanagon high roof camper that was built by Breakaway campers . It Is factory fitted with a 1800 / 1900 Golf / Audi motor. I think that the high roof is also factory fitted. It started out life as a transporter . Problem is that the camping interior, which is complete down to the fridge, sink and all the bells and whistles, has become quite tatty as the previous owner treated the van as a bit of a cartage vehicle.
Are these vans actually worth any real money in this country ? I dont have any intention of going camping, even if i sorted the interior out and made it really smart.
On the other hand, I like VW vans and would be very happy to remove the interior, panel up the non std windows, and just enjoy the thing. I am an ardent A/c cooled fan, as anybody will tell you, but i must admit that even that small W/C engine really allows the van to run like the wind. In short- A pleasure to drive !I would be real happy to have a bare panel van again - They are so handy.

So before I commit possibly the most terrible deed of stripping all the camper kit and fittings out of it and selling the stove, freezer and whatever else may be wanted by the fraternity, could the camper boffs and any other enlightened forumers please offer as bit of input here -

1 - Is it valuble enough to sell just like it is (as a camper)

2 - Will it be worth fortunes more if re-vamped and put on the market

3 - Is the fact that it is a camper and a high roof means nothing, is not really of any any value, and i might as well strip it out and have a van

4- Are the appliances, fittings Etc, saleable or sought after items

hi Bill How is the rest of the Vans condition? moter whise? and is it licensed? does the fridge and stove work?

WITH OUT PICS And if you want to strip it all out I might be interrested in some of the interrior for my bus

1ST Question you must ask your self what you want the bus for and when do you want to use it so what of the interrior would be worth keeping for you such as the fridge to keep the rest of the ACVWSA guys beers cold at get togethers it we have not got that fasility etc etc

Don't you know that caps represent shouting and shouting on the forum and showing little pictures of piles of shit is actually extremely rude.

Since when does anybody need a pic to stare at to offer an opinion as to wether I strip the van out or keep in intact.

I don't care much for T3 buses, but in principle campers are worth something by the time they become classics. If you need a panel, then strip it; if you can find someone who really wants the camper and is willing to pay, then sell it.

I would be interested in stove, fridge and other interior bits if you strip it.
