Ghia front wheels catching
I have a problem with my front tyres fouling my wheel arches when on full lock - any suggestions as to how I sort this out? It's caused the arches to pull out a little and is damaging my nice paint job!

Are you running adaptor plates, or non-standard wheels?
Any mods to the front beam?

Ghias have always been very tight in the wheel to body clearance stakes
The correct tyre is a 155 x15 which is a bit scarse over here The old Citroen club used to import but my info is about 10 years old
Smart cars also have small tyres.
You could measure the rims VWs had 4 and 4.5 inch rims maybe a set of 4 inchrims would give clearance
Dont use rostyles.

My fault: rare typo.andyrtmorgan wrote:Who's the 'other chap'? Do I need to fit lower profile tyres? As I said, the front hasn't been adjusted... Any other ideas?

chaps, ie: those of us around here who are more technically-inclined than I.

I have no idea if they can help or not, but with regards to Armand's suggestion about the Citroen club...IMPI wrote:Ghias have always been very tight in the wheel to body clearance stakes
