Hi Everyone.
Here's my Intro... I am Buzzer (AKA Phil to the missus) I am 37 years of age, one kid (Chris 10), a dog (Inca, age and breed dubious).
I have been into VW's for about the past 15 years, eventually getting my first Aircooled T3 five years ago (1970 Auto), unfortunately she is off the road at the moment due to some tin worm affecting the heater channels, hoping to do the work myself but my welding skills need improving before I commit to the work and also need to secure a release of funds from her who is in charge.
My main interest has always been the VW Bus/Kombi, my interest in owning one has been re ignited after hiring one for a week to do some travelling, it was just fantastic.
Ok here’s the bad bit...I live in Lancashire, UK and never realised how badly you guys feel about the export of vehicles until I read your threads, which I can fully understand. With the price of Vans over here being in excess of what I can afford for something solid and seeing the price the profiteers want for the imported ones, I was interested in bringing one over myself that needed cosmetic, mechanical and interior work that would be enjoyed by my family for many years and not to make a quick buck. Thought I would be honest with you Guys. Please can I have one last beer before you burn me at the stake?
Will stick to the technical threads and stay clear of the sales.

Regards Buzzer

Hello Everyone.

My name is Jenna. I'm sixteen years old and have loved vw buses for as long as I can remember. I don't own one yet and am still a student, but would like either a splitscreen or a bay window for my first car so I'm shopping :-D

see you round ;)
