... and they're off!
Ok so I figure Dutch is going to be pissed when he sees the hijack of his quite phenomenal story about HIS CAR so let's move on, huh? I take full responsibility for showing the slightest suggestion of sentiment towards what (oddly enough) brings all of us together on this site, that being effing ACVW's. Shoot me down - whatever. I'd like to hand this over to THE AUTHOR with a note of gratitude and hope to see the intriguing writings on the 1963 Beetle continue...

Well I didn't want to be the first one to say anything about the missing seatcover pic's but dude what's up with that???

You took time to firstly take a pic on a cop and secondly post it!!! And it's not the first time you've done it either...Remember the George trip...

Do you have a fetish for seatcovers in uniform.... :jerkoff: :jerkoff:  :flash:

karmakoma wrote:What a cool trip, now change that AVATAR, no more SOON 63 BUG. she's home. looks like a little gem you got there?
What are the plans, Resto cal? Custom ? Please promise you wont molest her?
I've decided that she's going to say 100% original! I can't do anything else. Everything is there and all together. The only thing I'm thinking is changing the colour to cream outside and red leather interior as then Emma says she'll drive her and then she can come on all the runs. I'll drive Mo and she can drive BB

Don't tell anyone, but I stopped, kept the engine running, ran up the road and took the picture.....

I figured that having driven 2 hours on that road and not see another vehicle let alone another person, it was safe to do!

I did however run back to the car and locked the doors in case
