Why not loosen the pinion bearing and separate the box for inspection. Remember to carefully mark everything where necessary and keep note of shims. Then show us the pictures.
The box might be sort of .............. but i dont want to &%^&&#$&#%$ it up anymore by just having a look
No good having the engine and no gears to push the bus up the hill
Seems the better plan is to get the box to the Van Wyks in Villiersdorp and have them split it open then take some pics if I may and then post the diagnostic for those of yous that might have or could have the same issues with chunks of metal falling out of the drain plug
