I forsee that in the near feature the raw material to make carbon fibre items will become more easier available, and I reckon with basic fibreglass skills and a bit of practice one should soon be able to make your own parts?

Fixed the floorpan, The previous owner pop riveted sheetmetal over the floorpan and also tried to stick the two together with some tar type product. When I removed the plates, water was trapped inside together with the tar and rust! I cleaned it up and put a fibreglass sheet over the pan for reinforcement.

All the fibreglass, resin and catalist was under R400, A new pan R4000 from volkspares.
Next is the rooflining.

Ok I am gaining huge respect for the guy's that put in rooflinings. I'm still batteling to get it right.

Also did some sound deadning with Acoustex sound deadning pads

and repaired the main harness that was cut of in the front. It was a bit difficult to get in there, but I managed to solder all the wires and insulate them with some heatshrink.

Ha ha, you noticed! My documents can now be sorted once again.
I am spending way to much time in the garage. When my one and a half year old daughter is looking for me, the first place to look is the garage and my cellphone charger is pluged in at the garage.
I put in the engine last night
