Great, Good to hear the 1st outing was a joy, and the family enjoyed them self.
Now for the pleasure of working on her indefinitely

Since we going to Vaalplaasie next weekend I have a lot to do to get the bus ready and more presentable.
So I started with the interior panels and boot carpet this evening. I found some leather textured sheet plastic at Maiseys which is perfect for the application. Should last a bit longer than the card panels. The carpet is a triple layered automotive carpet.

Thank you Al and freddie.
I will also be fitting a small amplifier and speakers this weekend also. Dont really want the doof doof type music but more decent, clear sound...... so i have a nice set of split speakers for the front and some 6x9s and an amplifier that i will be installing; not perfect or everyone's cup of tea but good enough to let everyone at Vaalplaasie know we have arrived.

I spent in excess of 12 hours on her this weekend in preparation for the trip to Vaalplasie next weekend.......although it doesn't look like it. I made and fitted carpets, fitted a sound system which consists of a small amp, some 6x9s and split system in the front. I also made some interior panels as some of the original panels were in very bad condition. I also fitted some sound deadening pads and fixed the wind up window with windscreen adhesive. I also scrubbed and polished the seats which made a huge difference also. She is starting to look much better!
I must admit I am a bit nervous about driving to Vaalplasie next weekend but really looking forward to it none the less. Hope she makes it!

Thank you.
I forgot to show how I mounted the front speakers. This is the front door and the theaters are in the A pillar.
