That was quick! I'm Patrick. I started building a 356 replica, and got very depressed at the amount of fabrication work I had to do, so I'm currently not air-cooled at all! I'm planning on getting a nice 1600 and redoing it to absolute bog standard but with a REALLY good paintjob. I know it sounds like a cliche, but I need something that I can drive and work on at the same time...

Hi everyone,

My name is Donovan and I am avid Beetle fan. I have owned two 1961 Beetles - and have really enjoyed them. I'm kind of crazy about all cars really - I also own a 80's Cadillac. But these Beetles are just so special.

I stay in the JHB area, and only discovered this forum now that I am selling the Beetle - I have run out of space to keep it.

I habe another friend who has a 1958 Beetle, and I will be sure to tell him about this site - he might also be selling in the near future as he is plannng to emmigrate.

Cheers
D

Hi everyone
It great to be a part of this awesome site. We are gail & mike. We LOVE vw's! We were really excited to hear about this site. Great to be around people who share our passion. We are currently looking for a "Project" to restore. Would really love a splitty but (as you know) seriously difficult to find :(
We currently have a 1990 rabbit cabrio in mint condition with 928s wheels. She has taken up loads of our time but we are very proud! We also have a new beetle cabrio.
Let us know if you know where we can add to our collection
