The guys at Custom Classics have decided to repaint the van as the seams aren't perfect, the finish is perfect with no runs:-






While the boys were keying in the whole van again I worked on the pop top:-



Cleaned all the old flock off:-

Doors & panels are now painted:-



I'll get some pictures of them finished later.

Started to strip my trailer:-

All the doors are now done:-


Started taking the masking off Milly:-


I started putting the doors back on:-



So far the tailgate & both front doors are on:-

Meanwhile the pop top is now all painted:-



The inside of the rear pop top was painted while the front was painted:-




There is a huge difference with the L90D pastel white & the non VW white that it was painted in:-

The sliding door is now built up ready for re-fitting:-




Engine lid ready for re-fitting:-


Headlights re-fitted:-

Sprayed inside all the panels with Dinetrol:-


Mean while the boys have been cutting & polishing the van:-



Tailgate seal on:-

Fitted my chrome U-bolt:-


Door handle & seals fitted:-

All the catches have been chromed & fitted:-


Zinc plated door check straps:-


Look at the shine on that:-


Put Dinetrol around the window aperture to stop any future rust:-



Bolted on the brackets with sealer to stop any possible water ingress:-




Front screen in & front of pop top on:-

Continued the build up today. Put Dinetrol cavity wax in all the panels:-






Greased up the sliding door tracks:-


Stuck on my engine hatch seal:-



Fitted the passenger door rubber:-

Fitted one of the Westy windows:-


& the inner seal:-


Fitted the engine lid seal:-


Fitted some interior parts:-


Refitted the Westy cupboard:-


The aerial, mirror & washer jets:-

Continued with the build up today. My sliding door mech is now in properly:-



RHS door is nearly finished:-





A few roof parts fitted:-



Started doing the deluxe trim:-
