Andrew don't sell your Beetle, rather buy another one.
I sold both mine 12 years ago and I'm still sorry today. In the process of finding my original one again though.

Hi guys nice to find a dedicated aircooled veedub club. im 22 been workin on my bug for about 3 years bought it from my dad he bought it new in 1974 its a 1974 LuxBug Bronze in colour and in pretty good nick. been upgrading it it still has all its origanal interior aside from a front loader, 2 eight inch 3 ways and napier window winders. on the outside of it iv got 15inch Racing hearts golf5 GTI replicas with 20cm thick Yoko Rubber, fronts got ventilated golf gti disks and calipers. just had an oversized pully put in and put performance filters in, next step is a performance exhaust mainly coz mines rusted thru. and it does 173Kmh pretty much stock.

I came across to this forum cos I recon a friend from South Africa. His name is Gary aka flatfourfan.
