More progress on the trailer, only a week to go now till our summer holidays.
Black waxoiled all the underside & fitted my new 5 stud drums:-



Milly's front tyres are put on the new wheels & now they aee on the trailer, these white walls are only 565 Kg rating & you really need 800 Kg on a type 2 so I've ordered 5 Goodyear Cargo Ultragrip 185/75 R14 Reinforced sidewalls.
These are Milly's old tyres on the trailer:-


I've removed the shoe's from the drums & fitted new split pins, I've now finished with them & the hub caps are on:-

Meanwhile I've also black Waxoyl'd the wheel arches on Milly:-



& put crap wheels on temporary:-

Done some fiberglass in the trailer to hide the wiring & to box in any rough metal:-





Wrapped the cable connections, soldered them & taped them up:-



Then painted it all black:-

Decided to refit my Propex, I've chosen the narrow cupboard to fit it into:-




As you can see I marked where I wanted the hole used the plastic pipe as a reference point & measured left & forward, I then transferred these measurements underneath & noted that there were no crossbeams etc in the way. I then drilled a 3 mm pilot ho,e & found I was only about 2 mm out which is fine I then drilled out a 25 mm hole for each pipes, at this point I found out that I should have drilled a 40 mm hole. SO I drilled the holes out to 38 mm & then opened them up to 40 mm.

In the last picture you can see the 25 mm holes. Thses have since been opened out to 40 mm

Decided to paint the inside of my trailer doors & the boot lid:-

Finished the trailer to an acceptable finish for now, I'll do some more body work over the winter but its OK for now. On the 7th of June Yvonne packed up & soon as I finished work we headed for Bristol Volksfest. We got there late & just pitched up next to some friends.

Left Bristol Sunday afternoon & headed for Dover. We arrived in Dover & caught the DNDS ferry to Calais:-
