Hi, Im Kathy, Im a newbie and drive a 1600 Black Beetle. I live in Pretoria with hubby and kids, and share my house with 5 dogs, 2 cats and 8 horses. My hubby hates my car but I love it. Not much else I can say, just that I am learning each day something goes wrong on car how to fix it.

Hi All, Im new. I live in Pretoria and we have a 1600 Volkswagen 71 Beetle colour black. My husband hates the car but I love it. That car goes where other cars cant. It needs some work, but as I get money I will have things fixed. We live in Pretoria.

Hi thanks all.
I dont have pics of my car. It looks terrible. I have just come back from the garage as the fan belt came off this morning. But I will see next weekend if I can take some pics. Just note the bumper is temporarily fixed with rope. (I rode into the neighbours fence) we live on a smallholding and I wasnt looking where I was going. Quick question, why arent there beetle get togethers on the northern side of Pretoria?

Hi, I live in KwaZulu Natal and own a 1972 VW Beetle 1300. I joined this group because I am REALLY deperate for help on little niggling issues that my beetle has, like the best way to reattach those side metal things (I don;t even know what they're called!) and where to get a fuel cap that locks (I need serious help with this one because I think fuel is going missing). I recently redid the exhausts and had her resprayed and now she is looking good as new.

Hi guys and girls, welcome to the lighter side of a bugs life... Indyfan those metal things on the sides are called fenders or doors or mirrors or could it be the wheels???? Only pulling your chain...

Im also new to the forum, joined today. Been a loyal VW fan for ages, and huge fan of beetles. Bought my first beetle on sunday 08/06/2008. Just waiting to go pick it up. I'm using it as a project car/ or refurb! Ill keep every1 up to date as I go along. Once again, Thanx for the lekker forum!
