79 Type 2 bay - Wifes
72 1303 Beetle- Sons

Hi, my name is Piet Jacobs and apologies for only now introducing myself. We've got a 1976 Beetle in the family (our daughters) and my prize possesion is a 1975 Fleetline bus. Have had an ongoing love affair with split busses since an early age (got my first driving lessons from my dad in a 1959 bus). The Fleetline use to belong to a old aged home and believe me she only has 43500klm on the clock. A logbook came with the bus showing every trip the home made from the first starting at 15 klm with the last entry at 36888. A new motor was fitted and even got the documentation, warranty ect. The one sad thing is that along with all the documents was a receipt for petrol in 1981 - 35,8lt for a full R20-00.
Regards,
Piet Jacobs

Good day people, I am Quintin Scheffer born and raised in Limpopo (Noordelike prof) Polokwane (Pietersburg)
I am working on starting my Beetle rotary conversion and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
Have any of you guys done such a conversion or know of some one who has?
