That's what I saw last time I looked at a 1300 Quacker... Maybe it doesn't use water, it's sure got a radiator...

Blah blah...This model release led to the term "superbike" due to its horsepower and size. Six cylinder, water cooling, and shaft drive were all cutting edge technologies when this model was introduced. What made this motorcycle special blah blah...
This makes it sound like Kawasaki invented shaft drives!! We never had a super bike before the 1300?? Or since??
Nothing against the bike, just against this particular article. I liked the 1300. Almost as much as I liked the MG 850 Le Mans Mk II.

looked like oil coolers to me,most bikes of that era late 70 and early 90 where ac,wc bikes only came later, with exception to a few,the z1300 being one of them.

1300cc came out with a1286cc motor, 6 cylinder inline , 24 valve, 6.1 l of oil, 4l of WATER, and a huge 27l fuel tank, the bikes dry weight is 296kg so all told with myself and a pillion passenger we are close to 500kg !!!!!!!!!!!1/2 tonne, 120 bhp, enough to rip your arms out of there sockets on pull off!
