Ha got mine and here's to havin some good luck for a change !
Just a short story to give you guys an insight into the type of luck i have had of late.
Traded in my wifes Jeep for a 4cyl car due to the huge ammount of fuel that the v8 used and have had a fight with the garage (and i use the term loosely ) every month since the trade in cause i am still paying the car they have not settled it yet ! and yes i have phoned the banks told them i am going the break their legs and hurled all the usual abuse at them as can be expected but still no go i then went and repo'd my jeep in the mean time the "spotless" Audi A4 station wagon developed a misfire and it whas found that due to a coil pack failure the software in the engine controle unit got corrupted -four new coil packs and a reflash and chip for the controle unit,shortly after that there whas a sound on the front suspension "calling out " for a complete controle arm kitt front and rear at this stage i wanted to set it on fire !!! then about two weeks ago the Saturday i get a call from the wife saying that there has just been a "alarm" on the dash and she is now stuck next to the highway ! After towing the Audi to the shop and removing the intake and tappet cover i found that the tensioner between the two camshafts had "failed" resulting in a loss of oil presure to the cam journals and it had broken the intake cam into three pieces !!! long story short new head new cam 20 valves and followers new timing chaine belt and all tensioners including a waterpump for good measure ! now in the mean time she is using the Jeep that 1st had to get two new tyres after it only "stood on our floor to sell " after that shocker its been discovered that the fuel pump is on its way out and its only available from Daimler Crysler -need i say more-.
Getting back to the Audi spend the whole of last Saturday putting her car back together and after all the checks and rechecks started it up.........Made a funny noise not funny ha ha but you know where im going with this...seems that the loss of oil pressure has now caused the turbo to starve and in short its toast !!! So turbo has been taken to have reconed waiting for the hammering when thats done (should be tommorow) and then hopefully close this chapter in my life !!!
SO HERES TO HAVING SOME GOOD LUCK FOR A CHANGE !

P.S Jeep grand cherokee 4.7 v8 for sale...............

good to... ALWAYS insist on receipts for belts and tensioners so you can see when last they've been changed...
Its big bollie if anything goes wrong in that area..

Welcome to the bad luck club bud always room for more..... You Audi didn't stand next to the DarkSide by any chance did it????

Im gonna win this time.... If it wasn't for bad luc I'd have no luck....

Had to go to work in the DarkSide thins morning as the Tracey car got a blocked fuel line AGAIN and had to limp back home splattering and farting with no power or rev's.... Not that I mind driving the DarkSide, I'd much rather drive it to the ford but not when I have to pay for the fuel instead of the company paying for it......
