I'm interested! and did vote. I'm running standard ride height and mine stick out and have already touched my fender while going over a bump. and i really dont like the look. if there is a safe, legit and easy way of pulling them in then i'm game...
From fastest to slowest:

Birkin race car, not much is standard
Lotus Elise 111R, almost everything is standard
'75 SP 1600 with a few mods

Maybe I am stupid, but I don't get what the big deal is with the wheels sticking out beyond the fender.

This is a picture of my old 69 with disc brakes and a wide five adapter on rostyles. The tyre size was 165x 15.

I had no clearance problems whatsoever. The lip on the left fener had to be tweaked to clear on full suspension compression, but that was due to a bad repair of a dent on the fender.

Shane, the adapter I showed you just before you mopped the street clean of brand spanking new oil at R40/l :bn: , the one I use to get past the "we can't balance wide five"-excuse, does the same as the one shown on Petrus... :flash:

Any word on the "Pull the wheel inside the fender kit" you were working on? hasn't died has it?
