Pulling the motor to get at the Release fork, it moved and clutch stopped working... Also managed to get some 6V light bulbs

Pulled the motor this morn. Found the cir-clip tired and it got out, hence the shaft moved. More worrying is that the 2 clips keeping the release bearing in its place is nowhere to be found, wtf

Need 2 of those clips, chances are a new release bearing and a new cir-clip for the shaft. Pressure plate bent, is this ok? Rgrds

Those release bearings are hard to find, so just a warning. And yes, i would replace the pressure plate. if its bent then it will affect the balance and could cause uneven pressure on the clutch.

bought one last week in Pta R175 I think. Midas across Jakaranda sentrum. No clips with

Volkspares PTA has them at R200-00.

Busy fixin n replacin bits while the motor is out... Sandy and media... Painted tinware, genie housing cleaned up with sodabrade media Works a treat....
