I have had a feeler offer for R55000 on Saturday for it. All I can say is I can't replicate this car for that kind of money. The previous owner is also interested in it, he is a collector, and I know it will be on the next container to Madeira, if he takes it as he only visits SA on the odd occasion now to buy up classic cars. :zhelp:

The best I have seen. Excellent work Rui. This one changed my friend mind about Beetles. He now wants to own one.

This is what it looked like when I got it, many problems, the previous owner reconed the tranny was shot, but a set of new tranny mounts sorted that out :lol: Interior was crap, so was the paint. Apparently this car was a pan off resto in 1991, if so it was a crap job.

Not at the moment as I'm running 12V but it's on the to do list, but they have been rebuild and just need connecting to some sort of 12-6v stepdown on a seperate switch. :wink:
