The original engine and gearbox is on the bakkie. Im going to do a complete retoration. Thanks for all the interest!

I will be needing new apron as seen in pic mine was cut for some reason they needed some space there. This will be the only replacement panel needed as all the other panels are solid and rustfree.

From what I have seen there are at least 2, maybe 3 or 4 really outstanding metal wizards on this forum, whose skill will make your jaw drop, and would probably be able to fix that so you would never know it had been cut.

Can you not make the pictures a little smaller, its so irritating when they cover the entire screen! :twisted: :TIC:

Nice find, pity about the rear apron. Early big window beetles are becoming more and more popular,and to find one with so little/no rust?!

On Vin plate it says C31 0

I dont like the colour what do you guys think any suggestions?
