Does 1964 mud guard fit onto a 1970s beetle (I know the lights are different but will they be able to bolt on)?

Yup.............they do.

I had 1962 bonnet, engine lid, front and rear valence as well as all 4 fenders on my my 1970 beetle.....(check the gas cap is still there.



Bumper mounting spots change though........................easy to modify though.

The reason that i did it was that 70's beetles were in a lot better condition and a heck of a lot cheaper than a 60's beetle.

You have to get a late 60's or early 70's beetle to do it though, dash vents and rear window vents don't look right if you use a later model.

But there are lots of other numbers all over but they look like they have been stamped really badly and were hard to make out

AAPV numbers show that the car was stolen and recovered.

I am gessing that that is going to make it very hard to get it licenced but any way wat year is it?

And I looked and if I'm right that is Aug 1958 ????

Take the papers to a licensing department and stand in line for a few hours. Otherwise, call the closest licensing department to you (Google is your friend) and ask EXACTLY what papers you need to get it done. Then phone a few other licensing departments and ask what papers you need, and take all the papers they tell you to. The reason why you need to call a few is because most of them dont even know themselves what papers you actually need, so its best to try get an "average" from a few different departments and then just take any paper which was mentioned by any of them. I have spent literally days in queues in these places, only to be told I need papers I dont actually need and then have to come back later.

How much would a kit car body cost my be i could take of the body and find a old beach buggy

I went to the traffic dept. and asked a few questions and looks like its one of toughs stories were I have to find the person who De-registered the car and get him to sign some papers then get to registering it again (the car is not stolen) but this is going to be very interesting and I will just have to see how it goes and if it goes badly I will just fix each part and box them for a later build or maybe sell some parts off. So I'm holding thumbs that I can find this guy
